Robert Bristow

Robert Bristow is a Salisbury, Connecticut-based artist whose work explores the concept of "essentialism"—creating objects that simply exist directly, clearly, and purely, rather than attempting to explain away their presence.  Drawing deeply from the stories, memories, and dreams of his childhood, Bristow utilizes simple, sturdy natural materials to highlight a sense of permanence.  Ultimately, his art serves as a poignant reminder of our own human fragility and impermanence, transforming possibility into tangible reality.​
