To kick off the 2022 Fall Exhibition season TYFA returns to New York with the launch of a solo show for light artist Mads Christensen.

The exhibition continues through

September 29th at High Line Nine

located at 507 West 27th Street.

A new series of sculptures are inspired by the black hole information paradox to which the answer may be … Fuzzballs …

“Fuzzballs are considered by some superstring theory scientists to be the time quantum description of black holes”

The solo show titled “Various Theories” celebrates the uniqueness of Mads Christensen using Light as Medium.

The exhibition highlights new sculptures and celebrates the selection of Mads’ monumental “Campfire” for public art projects in St. Louis and a finalist at Hudson Valley MOCA, as well as the acquisition of his work by The Thoma Foundation Collection.

There will be a reception for the artist on Thursday, September 15th, 5 to 8 PM.   New York is almost perfect in September so plan some time to come and visit — and if not, you can view a catalogue here.

The time is now to collect Mads’ works as his critical recognition is an ever expanding universe.
