Carole Feuerman: Time-Space-Existence at the Venice Biennale
May 9, 2015 - November 22, 2015
Carole Feuerman’s monumental works DurgaMa and Leda and the Swan are on view in front of Palazzo Mora, and were a crucial part of the group show Personal Structures, sponsored by the Global Arts Foundation. Her selections for this year draw on the themes of birth/rebirth and existence; the responses to her work were a blend of romanticized ecstasy and serious-minded zeal. In a highly politicized and dark Biennale, Feuerman’s sculptures inspire genuine and heartfelt emotions.
