Laddie John Dill
Antiquitas in Luce
In the late 1960’s Laddie John Dill (b.1943) distinguished himself within the Light and Space movement by using materials that were not associated with fine art, such as electric light, sand, glass and aluminum. These contrasts were wonderfully received for their inventiveness and visual sensations.
Following public installations at the Walker Art Center, Venice Biennale, Laguna Art Museum at MOMA NY, Antiquitas in Luce (Antiquities in Light) installed at the Museo Archaeologic Nazionale di Napoli celebrates these unexpected combinations.
